EVENING CNC OPERATOR

Are you looking for new challenges and would like to work in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere? We’re currently looking for an Evening CNC Operator for a family business in Saint-Hubert specializing in metal machining of parts up to 400 lbs, in the mining sector.

Under the supervision of the team leader, the incumbent will be part of a small team and will be responsible for the operation of the CNC machine and for ensuring the quality of machine parts, as well as all other related tasks.

Functions
– Adjust machines to meet product specifications;
– Operate all lathes and robots to machine all types of products;
– Read and use route sheets correctly, respect dimensions on technical drawings and know the meaning of symbols;
– Measure the dimensions of the parts produced using precision measuring instruments and ensure that the required dimensions are met;
– Use all measuring instruments correctly;
– Complete production and quality reports and forms;
– Prepare work area before and after production;
– Apply current quality policy;
– Apply work procedures and instructions;

Skills and requirements:
– Training in machining technique or equivalent experience in manufacturing production-Secondary education completed
– Quick learner
– Ability to react quickly to needs.
– Versatile, resourceful
– Experience in forklift driving an asset;
– Sense of responsibility, planner, proactive (plan ahead);
– Experience in a production plant an asset;
– Good physical condition;
– Be meticulous and concerned about the quality of your work;
– Monday to Friday Sunday schedule from 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
– 4 days of work on 3 days off

Multi-skilled material handler

We are currently looking for a day handler for a family business in Saint-Hubert specializing in metal machining of parts up to 400 lbs, in the mining sector.
Reporting to the production supervisor, the candidate will have to meet production needs by demonstrating versatility, initiative and good team spirit.

The incumbent is responsible for:
– Assisting in the supply of cut parts for production machines
– Assembling wood boxes for shipment
– Assisting in the packaging of parts
– Loading, unloading and moving products.
– The incumbent will also perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of the plant.

If you have:
– Good manual dexterity
– Good general physical condition
– Be able to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a standing position.
