Born in 1962 from the ambition of two French machinists, Mr. Henri Brechbuhl and Mr. Robert Desbat. Under the name of B & D Machine Products, the two young machinists went into business with the vision of providing machining and grinding services in Quebec for the aerospace industry. This sector has been a priority for the organization for over 20 years.

In 1985, the company changed its name to Brechbuhl and added the manufacture of loader pins to its industrial production. That same year, Henri Brechbuhl’s eldest daughter Josée joins the team full-time, and Robert Desbat retires.

Over the years, the company began to develop new markets, and in 1998 Brechbuhl Inc. became a service integrator, offering all machining, heat treatment, hard chrome plating and welding services under one roof.

In 2000, Mr. Henri Brechbuhl retired and his daughter Josée took over the reins of the company. With a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Josée Brechbuhl has seized opportunities and grown the company from around ten thousand square feet to over twenty thousand.
